Xiyangyang Steel Wire Screw Sleeve Tap is used to process blind hole bottom hole. It can produce chips quickly and has high precision. It can process the bottom hole.
Straight grooved tap
The straight groove tap has the best versatility and the strongest rigidity. Therefore, in general, in the processing of high hardness materials (such as: hardened steel above 40HRC) and chips are powder particles (such as cast iron aluminum) will be preferred straight tap.
Spiral grooved tap
Spiral groove tap is more suitable for processing through the hole thread (also called blind hole), processing chips upward discharge. Because of the screw Angle, the actual cutting Angle of the tap will increase with the increase of the screw Angle. Experience tells us: processing materials with higher hardness, the helix Angle is a little smaller, generally around 30 degrees, to ensure its own rigidity, which is conducive to extending the life of the tap. Processing non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum, magnesium and zinc, which are not very hard materials, the spiral Angle is a little larger, can be about 45 degrees, and the cutting is sharp, which is conducive to chip removal.
Taper tap
When processing the thread, the chip is discharged forward, and the through hole thread should be preferentially used with the edge Angle tap. Because its design is based on the straight groove tap on the tip of the blade and then use the grinding wheel to cut a slit, so its own rigidity can be comparable to the straight groove tap.
Extrusion tap
Different from the first three cutting taps, the extrusion tap is processed through the plastic deformation of the material itself, using the extrusion molding method to extrude the internal thread shape in the bottom hole. Therefore, the processing material can not be too hard. The advantage is that it does not produce chips, which can eliminate 90% of processing problems. However, because it is extruded, there is a fine groove at the top of the internal thread teeth processed, so it is not suitable for jobs with high sealing requirements.
