Nowadays, in our daily life, more and more steel wire thread inserts are used. Steel wire insert is a new type of threaded fastener, which is divided into ordinary type and locking type. It is a spring-shaped internal and external thread concentric body accurately processed from high-precision diamond shaped stainless steel wire. Locking type is to add one or several circles of locking ring on the basis of ordinary type.

The drilling depth is greater than or equal to the installation length of the screw sleeve; Be careful not to drill the hole into a cone, do not choose a drill with serious wear, and do not drop chips into places that may cause damage. After drilling, spot facer with deburring property is allowed, and the spot facer should not exceed 0.4p (pitch) depth, because too large spot facer is not conducive to the screw in of steel wire insert and causes unsuitable assembly.

Use electric or pneumatic semi-automatic installation wrench when assembly line is assembled or steel wire screw sleeve is required to be installed quickly, but it must be operated skillfully to avoid damage of screw sleeve and bottom hole. After the steel wire insert is installed, use the plug gauge of the corresponding level to check the accuracy grade of the formed standard internal thread hole. Sometimes the through end of the plug gauge may be difficult to screw into the insert, but this is conducive to the positioning of the insert after the screw is screwed in and tightened.
